Who IS the Easter Bunny?

Mom said "Ethan, you better go to sleep now so the Easter Bunny can come."

I said "Okay, I will go to bed now so you and dad can hide easter eggs."

Happy Easter Everyone!

Will we ever get out of this parking lot

So, we went to Monster Jams last weekend. To be honest, it was a little boring. Towards the end of the show my dad asked if we should get going, but the show wasn't over yet, so I said no.

Turns out, I was wrong about that.

We got outside to the parking lot and everyone was leaving at the same time. It was a crazy zoo. One kid even got out of his car and peed right in front of our car.

The crazy thing was every line that dad got in was NOT moving. Mom would suggest him to go one way - he would - and then all the cars would start moving in the line we were just in. We just sat there for what seemed like forever.

I didn't know it would be like that. Next time they ask if I want to leave early - I just might say yes.

Riddle me this

So, my gym teacher talks like a boy, but wears a ponytail like a girl. I am not sure if my gym teacher is a boy or a girl!

I am going to be a big brother

Yup, It's true folks. After years of begging, my mom finally has a baby in her belly! I went with her and dad today and I heard the heart beat - and then I saw the baby on a big screen. It looked like a peanut! We even got to take a picture home. They say the baby will be here August 25th - right when I start 1st grade. I can't wait to go to school tomorrow and tell my friends. yaahooooo

No more cheezits please

Each day, a kid from my class has a VIP day where they get to help the teacher, bring show and tell and bring a snack. One day, a kid brought cheezits. Then, the next day another kid brought cheezits. AND THEN, that same day for our after school snack, we had cheezits. I don't even like 'em. No more cheezits please!

My Birthday Party

My parents told me I could decide who would come to my birthday party this year. I carefully considered who I wanted to come. We addressed the invites and then my mom started to act weird.

"Ethan, why didn't you want to invite these kids?" She asked while pointing to a few names that were left off the list. Well, I had my reasons, and I told her what they were. She pressed on, "Yes, but I am afraid that they might find out you didn't invite them once all the other kids at school start talking about the party. And then what? What will you say to the one's who weren't invited?"

Then she had an idea to role play. "Okay Ethan, you be Ethan, and I am going to be Mary - one of the girls you didn't invite."

"Oh hi Ethan!" my mom said, "I heard you had such a fun birthday party and I was just wondering why I didn't get invited to your party? "

I replied to her "What birthday party? I didn't have a party."

Finding someone to Marry

Hello all, my name is Ethan and I am 6 years old. I am in Kindergarten and I guess my parents think I am pretty funny and they wanted me to write down my thoughts, conversations, whatever. So, here is goes...

I was wondering the other day how people find the person they are going to marry. I decided to ask my mom and her answer was "Well, people meet at lots of places; work, school, parties, church. Daddy and I met while we were working together at Applebee's. That is why we like to go there a lot to eat."

Oooh, well that explains it. I sure wish they would have met while working at McDonalds!
